What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned as a woman in business?
Never feel guilty about being clear with your boundaries. That has been one of the hardest and most important lessons I’ve learned. It’s so easy—especially for women—to fall into the habit of overextending ourselves, saying yes to everything, or feeling responsible for everyone else’s comfort. But real leadership means holding space for yourself, too. Setting boundaries isn’t about saying no. It’s about protecting the energy and focus needed to lead well, build intentionally, and show up as your best self every day.
What motivates you on the tough days?
Really leaning into my gratitude…and my team. I’m surrounded by an incredible group of women, most of whom are the primary providers for their families. That drives me in a deep way. I feel a real sense of purpose in helping create stability, opportunity, and growth for them. Seeing their wins, their confidence, their evolution—those are the things that keep me going, even on the toughest days. I’m constantly inspired by their grit, humor, and heart.
What’s your morning routine or ritual that sets the tone for your day?
I get up super early around 5:30 every morning and give myself time before the world starts moving. I meditate, pray, do my gratitude practice, feed my animals and plants, and just start my day slowly and quietly. My days are usually very fast-paced and full of energy, so beginning in total calm and silence is intentional. That slow, grounded start helps me center, clear my mind, and move through the rest of the day with focus and presence.
What’s the best way you like to recharge after a busy week?
I’m super active, so for me, recharging means being outdoors as much as possible—surfing, running, Pilates, strength training, hiking—anything that gets me moving and connected to nature. I love spending that time with the people I love, just laughing and decompressing. Lately, I’ve also been really into contrast therapy. It’s such a powerful way to reset physically and mentally. Those moments remind me how important it is to refill my own cup before starting a new week.
Describe your leadership style in three words.
Honest (even and especially during tough times), extremely communicative and transparent, supportive, accepting, and fully committed to my team. I know that’s more than three words but that’s really how I lead. I believe in creating an environment of openness, trust, and accountability where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to bring their best selves to the table.
What would your younger self be most proud of you for today?
That I’m a great mom, aunty, daughter, and friend. And that I don’t hold onto anything negative. Life and business can both be intense, but I’ve learned to release things quickly, forgive easily, and move forward with grace. My younger self would be proud that I’ve stayed true to who I am, surrounded myself with good people, and built a life and career rooted in love, creativity, and purpose.
